About Safari Adventures Daycare - Chambersburg PA
We provide quality care for children 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
Parents/Guardians may schedule a tour and an enrollment packet will be given when space Is available!
We utilize Creative Curriculum.
Lesson plans are done with weekly themes and activities are individualized with each child in mind. we also incorporate letters, numbers, shapes, and colors each week!
Each classroom has their own daily schedule that consists of Circle time activities, music, arts + Crafts, gross motor time, reading and academic activities. We do allow for free play as that is how Children learn best!
Daycare Curriculum
Children are taught at a developmental appropriate level. Our youngest Children Start with the basics - learning how to hold a marker (crayon pencil. Scribbling). This progresses to lines and shapes. As they get older we focus on letters and teaching them to write their names.
When your child Starts, you will receive an ages + Stages developmental Checklist within 45 days. we also complete teach Gold Strategy Assessments quarterly so you are always up to date with your child's accomplishments
Program Philosophy
The staff at Safari Adventures CCEC believes that children should be provided with nurturing care, learning experiences, positive encouragement and opportunities for growth. Recognizing that each child develops on an individual basis with varying developmental needs, children enrolled at the Center are provided with learning experiences that strive to meet their needs in all areas of development- social, emotional, intellectual and physical.
We believe that children are happiest if their development and growth occur where a balanced schedule of structure and flexibility exists. The Center's daily schedule is flexible, with enough structure to provide children with developmentally appropriate learning experiences that will contribute to their knowledge of basic living and educational skills. Our goal is also to help each child experience a healthy feeling of self worth in an atmosphere that fosters safety, security and regularity of routine. We believe this will help them to become secure, happy and loving members of their communities. It is our goal to help all children achieve this crucial life skill.
